Business Overview

Wheely Independent is a company set up by John in 2002 as a result of him finding how difficult it was to obtain good disability information and service provision, that truly met the needs of people.

Disability Awareness Training is fully researched and delivered to meet the needs of the delegates and produce the outcomes of their employers expectations from the session.
I am very professional in my delivery and like to ensure it meets the CPD requirements of the delegates through a mix of Power Point presentation and practical examples with delegate participation in a light hearted and relaxed environment but with a focus on ensuring the session meets the expected level of understanding for a wide range of subjects.

Sessions are usually 3 hours with a maximum delegate group size of no more than 25.
I charge an agreed half day and whole day rate depending on the number to train.

Access Audits, Planning and Property Appraisals

All reports are researched and prepared by John who set up the company in 2002 and has been a Wheel Chair user for over 20 years.
I ensure the fininshed report meets the needs of the client and is concise with full explantions and design to meet the criteria of BS8300 and Part M Building Regulations.
The works are charged at an agreed hourly rate to do the appropriate research on the building, venue or facility. My charges continue in the writing up of the concise report and recommendations. i also charge standrd milage rates for my travel and reimbursment of any accomadation costs if away from my home base.
